Olive Oil Route and Tasting at Masia La Mota, Oleotourism

Route and oil tasting

On Sunday 31st July we will be taking a tour of Masía La Mota to learn about its history and links to the production of olive oil since its beginnings, which date back three centuries.

We are located between the natural parks of Sierra de Mariola and Font Roja in the municipality of Alcoy in the province of Alicante, Spain.

During the visit we will be able to see the original elements with which oil was produced until the last century. The current owners have preserved each one of them as a testimony to the tradition that exists in the area dating back to the Iberians. We will talk about this in another post because it deserves a guided visit to the area of Vall de Seta and Travadell.

This Sunday 31st we want to have a great time, getting to know the varieties, history and environment and then finish with a tasting of premium olive oils from the area, for which we will have AOVE Eco Travadell of the Villalonga variety and Castell de la Costurera of the Blanqueta variety and of course M of olives from thousand-year-old trees.
