New summer seasonal menu in Masia La Mota Restaurant

The warm weather is finally here and we are changing our habits completely, we want to spend as much time as possible outdoors and enjoy walks, baths and escapades in the middle of nature.
This is the ideal moment to introduce our seasonal dishes in the menu of Masia La Mota Restaurant, which is located in the foothills of the Carrascal de La Font Roja surrounded by views and producers of the best raw materials.
One of the most outstanding ingredients of our service is the freshly baked bread bathed in our exquisite Masía La Mota extra virgin olive oil, produced only with olives from our centenary trees and picked by hand.

This is the time to have a good gazpacho, a salad with local ingredients such as alficos, split olives, raimet de pastor and all the seasonal vegetables.

Our Chef Evenor Sevilla has introduced new touches to classic dishes such as “Caprese” by adding flame-grilled aubergine and rocket, of course we have already planted the broad-leaved basil and our greengrocer brings us the reddest and richest tomatoes of this season.

Of course we keep some dishes on the menu, such as the national cheese board supplied by the Despensa de Andrés, the good country ham, the pericana alcoyana, a dish so authentic to the local gastronomy.
We don’t want to bore you with a description of each dish because you can consult the menu at the following link https://www.masialamota.comrestaurante-masia-la-mota/
But we can recommend a dish for those who like innovation: our chef Evenor Sevilla has prepared a carpaccio of Iberian prey, arugula, apples and parmesan that you can’t miss. We took advantage of the two tastings with gastronomic pairing that we have carried out with Bodegas Azpilicueta to accompany this dish with Azpilicueta Origen Rioja wine.
Moving on to the main courses, this season we have introduced the Cod confit with truffle oil au gratin with allioli and the dry, mellow or brothy lobster rice with prior reservation. These products are a world apart when working with fresh ingredients.
We continue with our now classic duck rice with seasonal vegetables in any of the three versions, dry, mellow or broth, you choose.
Our chef is also very good at desserts and we love the Creamy cheese and honey with dried fruit and nuts that has nothing to do with Mrs. Indira’s already famous Cheesecake with blueberries, a classic at Masía La Mota.
