A heavy snowfall has reached our hotel and restaurant Masía La Mota, the landscape is completely wintry.
We are isolated because we can neither access nor leave our facilities, the roads and accesses to Alcoy are closed. The Carretera de la Font Roja will probably not be cleared until Saturday 21 January.
At the moment the landline is not working but the internet and mobile phone 600 281 925 are working. We apologise for any inconvenience.
They say that a year of snow is a year of goods, so we are very happy and enjoying this idyllic landscape.
Snow in Alcoy is a common occurrence in winter, which is why we have missed it in recent years.
