His world of constant creation is the reason why Ferran Adrià came to the Piñero Workshop to learn in detail about one of his latest projects in the hands of José Miguel Piñero.
Alcoy has always been a cradle of culture and creativity, and the ingenuity of Piñero and his company has recently led him to achieve extraordinary success in the design and decoration of themed spaces. With its commitment to in-house production, it has created a talented team of creative professionals and craftsmen, becoming a strong leader in this production sector. And it is precisely El Taller de Piñero that has been commissioned to create the new experimental tableware that Ferran Adriá is looking for.
Piñero’s ability to adapt has led him to work alongside the brothers Albert and Ferran Adriá, both at their restaurant, ¨Tickets¨ in Barcelona, and at ¨Hearts” in Ibiza.
On this visit to Alcoy he was accompanied by Rafa Zafra, head chef of Heart Ibiza and of the new restaurant to be opened in Barcelona: Estimar.
Thanks to José Miguel we hosted Ferran and his companions at Masia La Mota. For us, it was a source of joy because it allowed us to share some very pleasant moments with all of them. In addition, Ferran and his companions expressed their warm surprise at what we have achieved, their pleasure at the place where we are located and also appreciated the sensations of tranquillity and the natural beauty that surrounds us.
