With the arrival of winter and the first rains, it is time to take refuge in the fire of the llar and taste the traditional cuisine typical of the inland of Alicante.
With the particularity of this feeling, from Masía de La Mota we want to bring you the essence of the Font Roja Natural Park through our cuisine, creating an exclusive gastronomic experience in the mountains of Alicante.
That is why we have prepared a special menu where the flavour of inland cuisine takes centre stage.
Comoprelude The main course will be followed by the following starters (three to choose from in the centre): Salad of smoked and salted fish with honey and mustard sauce, tuna salad with rocket oil and pine nuts, secreto with onion confit and foie gras, cheeks and olives vol-au-vent, marinated sardines with courgette confit and pine nuts, puff pastry with prawns and all-i-oli au gratin or potato and mushroom pie with cream of mushroom soup.
These starters to give way to the main (choose one per person): Duck confit with orange marmalade, prey with Mariola herbs, cod with La Mota sauce, sea bass with vegetables, paprika oil and mashed garlic confit, dry rice or duck broth (minimum two people) or black rice. Accompanied by freshly baked homemade bread.
And to finish, a typical dessert of the farmhouse to choose from: cheesecake with blueberries, Catalan cream, pumpkin pudding with praline ice cream and walnuts.
