Continuing with our commitment to offer unique gastronomic experiences, as ambassadors of Panama and hosts in the Valencian Community and how could it be otherwise, hand in hand with the internationally renowned chef, Felip M. Andreu, we created a new experience: Panamor Gastronomic Fusion, Valencia&Panama.

Felip Martínez Andreu, internationally renowned chef of Valencian origin.

He developed his first studies in Valencia, finishing at the University of Valencia as a professional sommelier. However, his interest in cooking started in his family.

His restlessness and constant vitality have led him to become head chef in various Michelin-starred projects. The Abac restaurant in Barcelona with the prestigious Xavier Pellicer and Carme Ruscalleda.

In his professional career, it is worth mentioning his own restaurant L’assaig, which stands out for being a centre of gastronomy, art and culture.

From there, he began his “foreign” journey: the city of Valencia, Teruel, Barcelona, the restaurant “El Templete” in Havana, Cuba, in Panama City, where he developed the project “Origins”, and various consultancies, as well as in Colombia and Costa Rica.

In 2011, he began his relationship as the image of the Faberware brand in Central America, carrying out various consultancies, demonstrations and live shows in Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic, among other countries.

She currently combines her gastronomy classes at Ganexa, the University of Art, and her start as an official chef in a “Toque de Mujer”… all her passions united, art, art and art.
However, this review would be mutilated if we do not refer to the plurality of his creative activity, such as written collaborations and the organisation of gastro-cultural events. not forgetting his time as a theatre and film actor and the publication of his first book, Platos de Oro (Golden Plates) in 2009.

 

Mikael Calvo Mas masía la mota restaurant

Mikael Mas Calvo, Spanish chef with French origins. Born in 1981 in the European gastronomic cradle par excellence, Lyon.

It is there, from her earliest age and hand in hand with her grandmother, that her passion for cooking emerged, sharing time and dedication. Just as a good dish should start, with care.

Throughout his professional career he has specialised in traditional Alicante cuisine. From its passage through Casa Pepa in Denia, to the Masía la Mota Restaurant. Where he currently leads and creates the characteristic cuisine inspired by the farmhouse and its natural surroundings, the Font Roja.

Gastronomically, it is worth mentioning his skill at making typical local rice dishes, olleta and spoon dishes from La Mancha and the mountains. All varnished with a contemporary touch of its own.

A tireless taster, when creating new dishes he is inspired by the essence that each ingredient has to offer. With the kitchen, he seeks to return to the origin of taste, experience and feeling.

When she cooks she thinks about her children, about the pleasure of life, about the most intimate things… because sometimes you can’t express everything in words, you have to let yourself go and taste the flavour of life.

Two prestigious chefs cooking together among friends, in an unbeatable location, the Masía La Mota restaurant on the slopes of the Carrascal in the Font Roja Natural Park. Based on the restoration of a farmhouse more than 300 years old, in which we have preserved the essence and the original architecture of the building. Our aim is to go back to doing things the way they used to be.

All this combined with the essence of the Masía de la Mota and the commitment of the managers, Edgar and Indira, to carefully transport each guest to the traditional culture of this land.
