Almost 50 years have passed since that group of friends from the university environment of La Laguna decided to formalise as a musical group and began a career of almost 70 recordings. A valuable sound archive that includes part of the traditional legacy, as well as songs of their own creation and adapted versions.
The musical repertoire of this renowned group, Los Sabandeños, will be performed on Saturday 12 December at 19:00h. in Alcoy, in the Calderón Theatre. Concert organised by the Asociación de Amigos de la Música de Alcoy with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Alcoy, Área de Cultura.
It will be directed by Elfidio Alfonso Quintero and will last 120 minutes. The repertoire includes: Canarian songs, Latin American songs and traditional Christmas carols.
