After resting during the month of August, we return in September with renewed strength. We continue with our aim to make the stay of all our guests very special and that everyone finds just what they were looking for. Peace, tranquillity, outdoor sports or discovering the surrounding villages are some of the options we offer.
Of course, we think that no one should leave our facilities without enjoying lunch or dinner in our restaurant, where you can sample the best of traditional and modern cuisine.
Holidays with children, why not?
Until mid-September the children are still on holiday. Perhaps, during the summer, it has not been possible for school holidays to coincide with parents’ work holidays and they have not been able to enjoy as much time together as they would have liked.
Why not enjoy a special weekend in September before returning to the everyday routine? For them it will be something fun and different and you will have the opportunity to enjoy time together and share different experiences.
Our charming hotel is very romantic and that is why many couples come here, but we also have a family room and the possibility of installing an extra bed or cot in the rest of the rooms if requested in advance.
Children tend to really enjoy our facilities, especially the outdoor paths where they can get out and burn off all their energy. They especially like the experience of being in the countryside when they normally live in the city and cannot enjoy this environment.
A very special family room
Our family room is certainly very special. Downstairs there is a double bed, but there is a mezzanine where there is another double bed. This one is designed for children, who will experience sleeping on the mezzanine as an adventure. The stairs are quite safe but if preferred, adults can sleep on the upper floor as both beds are double beds.
Downstairs, above the bed, there is a ceiling fan for the hottest days. A cosy and pleasant atmosphere for a room in which you will feel very comfortable because it is very spacious. The loft is carpeted, which adds warmth and helps to avoid noise.
If you are travelling with a child only, you can request any other room with an extra bed. It must be ordered in advance to ensure that it will be available. Cots are also available.
The Grand Suite has a dining room and a pullman kitchen and can accommodate an extra bed. Some families opt for this special room because they can have lunch and dinner with their child in the room and use the rest of the day for excursions and outings.
Hiking, cycling routes and more
If booked in advance, our Masia La Mota offers a wide range of alternatives for people staying at our facilities. From the possibility of observing the Milky Way at night to horse and donkey rides in the surrounding area.
In the farmhouse itself there is a large number of private paths to walk along, but we also offer the possibility of going out on guided routes to different places in the surrounding area. You can even visit the city of Alcoy. We also offer nature photography trips and even the possibility of hot air balloon rides.
If you intend to carry out activities, we advise you to book them in advance so that you know if they are available and if they can be carried out. In any case, the area is perfect for independent outings on different routes. We can advise you on which paths to take so as not to miss the most beautiful spots in the surrounding natural parks.
When travelling with children it is essential to choose short, easy routes that they can cope with. If the child is not used to this type of outing, it is best never to go too far away to avoid fatigue or discomfort. Find out about group outings that may be suitable for children of a certain age.
Many families choose to bring their bikes and go out on their own to explore the surroundings. In this way, they are not dependent on anyone else and can make their own journeys carrying their child safely if they are not yet able to ride their own bike. The picnic outings that we organise also tend to be popular with the younger children, who see eating in the countryside and enjoying the great outdoors as a real adventure.
