Live Jazz Concert Masia La Mota
Live Jazz filled the gardens of the charming Hotel and Restaurant Masia La Mota, an idyllic space located in the heart of the Font Roja Natural Park, Alcoy, Alicante, ideal for exclusive and select events.
The atmosphere was magical, the views of the emblematic natural landscapes of Alcoy, La Serreta, Els Canalons, El Preventorio, served as a backdrop to an exclusive event by Enric Peidro Quartet which was attended by an audience from different parts of the province and Murcia and of course his fans, family and friends from his native Alcoy.
Indira Amaya de Ameglio and her husband Edgar Ameglio as always great hosts and a couple committed to supporting culture, especially music.
The musician from Alcoy, Enric Peidro, has a career that is more than recognised nationally and internationally. From a very early age he started out in music and became one of the most solid and respected Spanish artists on the international scene.
El repertorio estuvo compuesto por temas como: The Shadow of your smile, Harlem ncturne, Sophisticated lady, Foolin’myself, Black velvet.
The performances have basically collected material they call “American Songbook”… mainly songs that have their origin in Broadway musicals, composed by the great composers of the 20th century: George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin ….
After the concert, most of the audience stayed to enjoy the gastronomic offer at Terraza Masia La Mota, which was inaugurated on 18th June by its chef Evenor Sevilla Faus.

The square where the concert took place is built over the old cistern where the water used to irrigate the gardens and orchards is stored.

It is worth mentioning the involvement and effort to promote music and concerts by the Mussols Jazz Club of Alcoy, who together with Turia beer have been sponsors of the event.
